He is survived by his sister, Jane (Robert) Kolans, his son Richard (Maryjane), his two grandchildren, Richie and Ginny, numerous nieces and nephews, and a great many friends. Dick graduated from high school at 16 and completed 3 semesters at Penn State before serving his country in World War II from 1943-1946. After the war he returned to Penn State and completed his marketing degree. After a stint with Rockwall International where he met and married his wife, Dick joined American-Saint Gobain Glass Company. After four years in the corporate office in Kingsport, Tennessee, he relocated to Dallas in 1965 as ASG’s Western General Sales Manager.
