Professor Golladay was one of my favorite instructors, first Fortran and then Cobol - starting me on a 50-year professional programming career. His classes inspired interest in programming and he was always exceptionally helpful after class too - all you had to do was ask - great guy.

Robert was a great teacher and worked diligently to help his students learn. He was also a fine person. I miss working with him and especially his sense of humor.

So sorry to hear of this. I remember Bob being a very friendly and kind man who always had time to talk to me when I arrived in the BCIS department twenty years ago. He told the story of a house he lived in as a freshman that was right off campus and the parties they had! Even though the house is now gone, I still think of him whenever I drive by it. My sympathies for his family.
