Robert Jameson's Obituary
Robert (Bob) Lee Jameson was born on March 24, 1938, to Bertha Billingsley and Leslie Edward Jameson. He passed away on January 31, 2015. Bob completed undergraduate and graduate degrees at Southeastern Oklahoma State College in Durant, Oklahoma. He taught math at Idabel, Oklahoma, for six years, and then went to MacArthur High School, in Irving, Texas, where he taught Geometry and Honors Geometry. He also worked with the Academic Decathlon Team and Chess Club. Bob married Eugenia Efantis Jameson on June 25, 1971. He is survived by his wife, Eugenia Jameson ; his sisters, Pat (Ken) Qualls, June (Wesley) Fox, and Christina (Michael) McCurtain; his brother, James; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters, Marie (Allen) Gerhard and Charlene Bitting. Bob enjoyed reading, his “doggers”, John Wayne westerns, working the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle, and recording unique and interesting programs to watch with his wife. Special thanks go to the caring, proactive, and knowledgeable doctors with whom he developed a very special relationship through the years. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Richardson Humane Society (Richardson, Texas) and the Peer Assistance and Leadership (PAL) class at John Paul II High School (Plano, Texas). The visitation for Robert Jameson will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Robert Jameson will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:00am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 13555 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, Texas 75240. A graveside service is scheduled for 12:00pm at Restland Memorial Park after the services.
