Robin and I met in sixth grade at Queens Intermediate!! We both lived in Mount Vernon and became a very famous babysitting duo!! We remained close throughout our lives. I loved our travels together, starting with a Cancun trip, where neither of us had any money😂. I have so many fond memories of Robin’s laugh, her willingness to help in every situation, her devotion to her family and her friends. She was extremely talented in so many ways. I miss her very much, but I have no doubt that she is in heaven. Her faith was unwavering. She handled her illness with class, laughter, and grace. Rest in peace, dear friend…..the one and only Robin Lynn❤️
I grew up across the street from Robin in Mount Vernon. I so Looked up to her and D’Nita. They were both alway so sweet to me. So sad to hear of Robin’s passing. Way too soon, and so not fair! Praying for God’s peace for the family — Rhonda Robinson Jones
So many high school memories of Robin. She was a good friend with so much talent. Our cheer posters and run throughs were always amazing thanks to her artistic abilities. She was also my daily mad dash to school. Despite us being late almost every day for whatever reasons, Robin was rock solid dependable. Heaven has gained a special angel. God rest her sweet soul and comfort all of us that will miss her.
Before Robin was a Baylor Bear, She was one great Eagle Cheerleader and before that even a better friend. We took Gymnastics together and I would call each other “Nadia.”
Out of my Vast Mickey Mouse Collection is my most precious painting Robin did of Mickey Mouse with the words “Gymnast” on his shirt. It came with its own little Bamboo Easel. She was that kind of friend to make something special just for you.
My heart is with all who loved Robin in her all to short but well lived life. You spent your dash well, sweet Nadia. I know The Angels were singing you home and you are resting in the arms of Jesus. I know he was glad to see you saying “well done, my faithful servant” grateful that you touched so many lives and left us all some love, fun and fond memories.
