We celebrate Ronnie’s life as a devoted husband and father, a proud patriot and veteran, a two wheeled road warrior, and a trusted friend. Wishing Karen and family hugs, peace and comfort as we remember and cherish our shared moments through the years. Ronnie will always remain in our hearts and memories. Love, Dutch & Rebecca
Like many of you I've known Ronnie for many years, 55 plus years in my case. He and my Uncle Dusty were running buddies back in the day before Vietnam and after the war when they both made it back home thankfully. They were 7 or 8 years older than me and they were my idols. I wanted to be just like them both. Unfortunately my uncle preceeded Ronnie in death by about 15 years but I know how he loved him as well. Not only was Ronnie a real life war hero, he was like a big brother and hero to me. And I can't and don't say that about many people. To me Ronnie was a real life Happy Days Fonzie! A cool cat, good friend, hard worker, loving husband and father. He was also one of the best motorcycle riders I ever rode with. I saw him do things and make saves on his bike that most people like myself put in the same situation would have crashed out. One quick funny story was from back in 1981. My uncle and I were living together Dusty and just bought a brand new Honda 900F bike. Ronnie rode over on his CBX1100 I believe it was to check out his new bike. Dusty throws Ronnie the keys to take it for a spin. Ronnie takes off on it and disappears for like 30 minutes. We were starting to get a little concerned when he comes pulling up. He hops off the bike and starts telling Dusty how well it handles etc. Upon further inspection I noticed that the front bottoms of the metal foot pegs on both sides of the bike hand been grinded down from the concrete from where Ronnie had been doing some serious high speed cornering. I was just in awe! I could go on and on. The bottom line is that we loved Ronnie and we will never forget him. We pray for you Karen and girls that the Lord gives you the strength to move forward and take solace that he's in good hands and that you will eventually be with him again. We love you guys, Danny, Debbie & boys.
