Ronald Ray Humphrey's Obituary
On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Ronald Ray Humphrey peacefully passed away from cancer with family by his side.
Born April 27, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to parents, Gordon Lynch and Georgie Ann Humphrey.
He served in the Army in the Vietnam War and was part of the 25th infantry division which he was honorably discharged. Ronnie received the bronze star medal for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces and also received the Purple Heart for wounds received in action.
Ronnie married Karen Cunningtubby Humphrey on January 28, 1984. They lived in Dallas where they had two daughters: Julia and Jessica.
Ronnie enjoyed riding motorcycles, bicycling, traveling, spending time with family and was a master of the grill. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents G.L. and Georgia Humphrey. He is survived by his wife Karen, Daughters: Julia and husband, Everett, Jessica and husband, David; Grandchildren: Landen, Colton, Logan, Cason, Harper; Sister: Patty Spurgin; Brother: George Humphrey.
