Rose Marie Tompkins Smith's Obituary
Rose Marie Tompkins Smith, age 79, joined her Father in Heaven while recovering from a recent surgery at Dallas Medical Center. Born July 23, 1936 in Carnegie, OK. She continuously owned and operated her CPA firm from 1986 until her passing. Survivors include her sister Gerri Clifton, brother Steven J. Tompkins, sons Michael A. Smith, Jody and his wife Cherilyn Ginn, and three grandchildren, Cody, Lacey, and Amanda Ginn. She was preceded in death by her father Mancye Alexander Tompkins, mother Minnie Mae Dalton, and sister Dorothy Boice, and brother J.D. Tompkins. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29th from 5-7 PM. Service will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, October 30th, both at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Rd., Dallas, TX. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
