You both gave such warm and loving memories of your mom in that beautiful service. Please know that Pick and I have such wonderful memories of your precious mom and have valued her friendship for over 40 years. One of our earliest memories of Ruth was in 1977 when we were moving into our home across the street from ya'll on Robin Meadow she offered to keep Granger for us while we dealt with the movers. Since he was only 15 months old she was a God send during all of that! As you know, through the many years that followed we traveled with your mom & dad and did lots of local activities with them. Even after we moved to Mississippi 12 years ago Ruth and I would always get together when we returned to Dallas each December and catch up by meeting for lunch. Ruth was truly dear to both of us and she will remain in our hearts always!

I had lost touch with Diana after moving away from Bridlewood, but found out about the service through FaceBook. I can’t tell you how much I wish I’d been better about keeping in touch.
To her kids: Lord, she loved you two! And she was so, so proud of you! You both spoke so eloquently during the service today.
I hope you find comfort and peace with her memory.
Ruth was a wonderful friend. I will always remember with great joy the time we spent together!
