Ruth Neilson Owen's Obituary
Oleta Ruth Neilson Owen passed away at age 91 in peace at her home in Irving on Sunday, June 6. She was born January 17, 1919, in Pittsburg TX, and moved to Dallas at a young age, where she married Samuel Neilson in 1937. They moved to Irving in 1946, where she continued to provide a loving home to all her family for over 64 years. Widowed in 1978, she remarried Lester Owen in 1980, and survived him in 2009. She is survived by her sons, Samuel L. Neilson III, John A. Neilson and wife Marian ; step-daughter, Debra Blakeman and husband Jim; grandchildren Eric C. Neilson, Marc C. Neilson, Mary R. Richburg, Justin S. Neilson, Angela F. Neilson, Kristin Blakeman, Ryan Blakeman; great grandchildren, Christopher Richburg, Jaden and Lukas Hoel and Leia Neilson.
