S. Ronald Black, 92, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on December 27, 2018 in Dallas. He was born on January 29, 1926 in Wichita, Kansas, to John Black and the former Rachel Smith.Ron married Bonnie Latta on July 30, 1948, in Wichita, Kansas.He was an accountant and member of Prestoncrest Church of Christ.Ron served in the United States Army at the end of World War II and attained the rank of Sergeant prior to discharge.He was preceded in death by his brother, Gale Black.Ron is survived by: his wife of 70 years, Bonnie: his daughters Ronda Greenway of Edmond, OK, Janet Black of Mission, TX and Kay Torres of Euless, TX; his sisters Kathleen Richie and Ramona Phipps; his brother, Theron Black; five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Prestoncrest Church of Christ, Attention: Memorial Donations, 12700 Preston Rd, Suite 210, Dallas, TX 75230 972-233-2392.Inurnment with military honors will take place in the Dallas-Forth Worth National Cemetery Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 1:00PM.
