Saeed Hedayati's Obituary
Saeed Hedayati passed away from this world, surrounded by family and love, on February 24, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on July 28, 1950 to Behmard and Roohangiz Hedayati in Yazd, Iran. At 18 years of age, he traveled with his dear cousin, Parviz, to the United States, thus beginning a new chapter in his life.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mohrokh, his son, Naveed, his daughter, Neda, his son-in-law, Rob, his grandchildren, Lauren and Holden, and his loyal poodle companion, Aldo Ciccolini. He is also survived by his brothers, Vahid and Hamid, his sisters, Homa and Shahin, and countless nieces and nephews that love him dearly. He is predeceased by a brother, Rostam, and his mother and father.
Saeed was a career student and teacher. He held a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master's in Statistics, and a Ph.D in Petroleum Engineering. He worked most of his career at Halliburton before becoming the office manager at his wife's pediatric office.
Saeed loved music, ranging from classical music to his 60's favorites, such as The Beatles and Bob Dylan. He had a quirky sense of humor, which managed to make him friends everywhere he went. He loved random information, statistical data, relationships with people, books, knowledge, and everything in between. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
