Sandy was a wonderful, caring friend whom I will miss. I began working with her at Memorial Elementary in Plano sometime in the 2000 decade. I remember stepping into her 4th grade classroom around my birthday and she stopped the whole class to wish me a happy birthday and give me a gift and then had the class sing to me. What a beautiful, thoughtful person. She was always concerned about those around her. We had lots of laughs when she joined out Bunko group. We will certainly miss her.

Sandy & I lived "around the corner" from each other after my family moved to her neighborhood when she & I we're in 9th grade. To say we had fun would be an understatement. She introduced me to Sly & the Family Stone, Sunday brunch with her family & being called "Dog!" Oddly enough, she married the younger son of friends of my parents. Remember, Steve? Sandy was kind, positive, funny, beautiful, true blue & loved.

I just found out that Sandy died when I saw the In Memoriam in the Theta magazine. I also remember Sandy's smile. She will be missed and many in her pledge class have commented on Sandy's untimely death.
