Sandra Hall Lucas' Obituary
Sandra Hall Lucas, age 62, of McKinney, TX passed away at home on October 21, 2015. Sandy was born in Dallas, TX on July 16, 1953 to Vera and George Hall. Sandy is survived by her loving husband Steven Hall Lucas, sister Georganna Hall Zaba, brother David Scott Hall, sons Casey Royal Lucas and Jason Scott Lucas, daughter-in-laws Jamie Lucas and Caitlin Lucas, granddaughter Savannah Joan Lucas, father-in-law Robert Lucas, brother-in-laws Al Zaba and Bruce Lucas, sister-in-laws Jane Hall, Daryl Hall and Alice Lucas, nieces Hannah Hall, Adriane Wolfe, Teresa Cope, nephews Soren Hall, Cameron Crawford, Chris Hall, and Michael Lucas. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Vera and George Hall, and brother Ronald Hall. Sandy attended Hillcrest High School in Dallas where she met her husband, Steve. She attended University of Arkansas where she became a Kappa Alpha Theta. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Sandy married Steve Lucas on August 23, 1975. She taught elementary school for 18 years in Plano, Frisco and McKinney. She loved her family and friends and hosted numerous events to bring people together. She enjoyed working in her garden and staying active. A memorial service will be held for Sandy at 11 am, Saturday, October 24, at the Sanctuary at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX.
