Shirley Marie Johnson passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Monday, April 14, 2025, in Winnsboro, TX, at the age of 89.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21, at 2:00 PM in Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas.
Shirley was born on February 13, 1936, in Saxe, TX, to Aza Nelson and Verdie Cragett. She was married to her husband of 50 years, Jerry. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, Christian, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Aza Nelson and Verdie Cragett; all five of her siblings, including her twin brother Curtis Cragett, Junior Cragett, Ruth Reeves, Janice Dillahay, and Doris Tabor; and her grandsons, Matthew Johnson and Brian Johnson, along with Brian's wife, Tiffany.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Jerry Johnson Sr.; her children, Mike Pierce (Rhonda), Jerry Johnson Jr., Patricia Johnson, and Richard Johnson (Debbie); her grandchildren, Alex Pierce Kramer, Carter Pierce, Jerry Johnson III, and Megan Jackson; and her great-grandchildren, Devon Kramer, Kallan Kramer, Jerry Johnson IV, and Vivienne Jackson.
