I became a friend of Sidney's in the late spring of 1989 . The circumstances may seem somewhat odd ,but I was introduced to her by one of her neighbors who knew about a cat who kept coming to my door.After several days I finally took the cat in and had her as a pet for the next 7-1/2 years unti she died of kidney failutr. Sidney and I continued to be friends from that time on with a common interest in a number of people we both knew at HPHS--she was in the class of 1965 and I was in the 1962 class, Donald Nelson
