Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always heard my mom tell the love story of Uncle Sotero and Auntie Trining. It all started with love at first sight. 😍 Uncle Boy instantly fell in love with Auntie Trining because of her beauty. Every time he passed by their house, he wouldn’t stop going back and forth until he got a glimpse of her. My mom would always joke, “Boy, you’ve been going back and forth so many times, you’re already sweating. Trining, come out already so he’ll finally stop!” The moment Auntie showed herself, Uncle’s smile would reach from ear to ear. Nothing could compare to the happiness on his face whenever he saw her. Eventually, Uncle started courting Auntie and even gave her a promise ring. Whenever they had a fight, Auntie would take off the ring and pin it to her dress instead of wearing it. As soon as Uncle noticed it wasn’t on her finger, he would immediately worry and ask what he had done wrong. He would even ask my mom to talk to Auntie for him because his day just didn’t feel complete whenever they weren’t okay. To make the story short, they truly had a beautiful love story. From everything my parents shared with me, Uncle Boy was one of the kindest people to our family. He was so generous, caring, and always willing to help. We could never ask for a better person. Thank you, Uncle, for your kindness and for the love you gave to our family. My mom would always say you were her favorite brother in law. We love you so much, Uncle. Please take with you all our love and respect. Until we meet again. 🙏❤️
