What an amazing Biblical scholar with a sense of humor and love of the Gospel

I never met this man of God but feel compelled to tell of the amazing love I received through watching and listening to him speak while sitting under his teaching at Dallas Theological College's free courses and I give glory to God as He helped me understand something greater than knowledge of God. It is heart expanding to think that I could feel truly cared for by God even though Dr Toussaint was no longer here on the earth but already a number of years in God's presence. It is such an encouragement to see how God can use a faithful servant for he continues to also to be God's effective servant long after his departure! This knowledge is an encouragement and a delight to my heart because I have been truly touched and helped to grow spiritually by the way Dr Toussaint delivered his messages. His wisdom kindness and care has propelled me to want to emulate God's faithful love to others. We all need good role models and Dr Toussaint has been that for me. Giving all the glory to God. Wonderful to realise that God blesses his servant's memory after their departure and I trust that Dr Toussaint is constantly rejoicing in Christ's presence. I will also rejoice and give thanks for him and ask that God bless his wife and family and share but a little of their great loss but also look heavenward with them.
Stanley D. Toussaint, beloved Pastor, teacher, mentor and friend. Your presence in
this world will be missed dearly. I know these past few month have been so hard
for one of God’s greatest orators to be silent. However, personally, I believe
Dr. Stan has brought forth sermons as great as or greater than even those he
verbalized. When I looked into his face — the love of Jesus that poured out
through his smile and those smiling eyes as he lovingly shook your hand — what
greater sermon could ever be preached that the complete love of Jesus. And,
that is exactly what poured forth from those short encounters. This man could
tell you how much God loved you and never say a word. Great orator — yes he
was. Even greater – was the example of God’s love his life exuded. He truly
lived what he preached. Thank you, Dr. Stanley D. Toussaint for the example you
have been to all of us. I know the heavens are filled with joy as you heard God
say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.” You will be missed on earth
–but you are exactly where you were meant to be — in the presence of The Lord God
Almighty.
