Dr. Stanley D. Toussaint's Obituary
DR. STANLEY D. TOUSSAINT, born April 23, 1928 in Prinsburg, Minnesota, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ September 5, 2017.Dr. Toussaint is survived by his wife of 67 years, Max Toussaint, his brother Harry Toussaint, sister Joyce Syverson, sons Douglas and Marc Toussaint, grandsons Marcus, Michael, and Julien, granddaughter Sylvie, and great grandchildren Rory and June Toussaint. Dr. Toussaint graduated with his B.S. from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN, and received his Masters and Doctorate in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, where he served as Professor from 1960 to 2012. Dr. Toussaint pastored Irving Bible Church in Irving, Texas, Immanuel Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia, and Richland Bible Fellowship in Richardson, Texas. He also served as President of Western Bible Institute in Denver, Colorado, and taught in person and over the airwaves across the US and around the globe, including Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Europe. He was the author of Behold The King, A Study of Matthew in two editions, as well as editing and contributing to other books and publishing many articles, studies, and smaller works of scholarly and more general interest. His messages and courses are streamed online, and his ministry continues to reach countless hearts worldwide. He was an active member of Stonebriar Community Church, where he taught the popular Marathon Adult Fellowship Class. He tremendously enjoyed his family, fishing, traveling, and laughing with one and all. He will be missed, and he was deeply loved.The service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Stonebriar Community Church.
