Condolences from all of us at the Service Roundtable. A gift has been made to the American Lung Association in your father's name.
Beautiful service. Steve would have been proud.
My dad loved to tell corny "dad" jokes. My brother and I often cringed and rolled our eyes, but still had to laugh at his enthusiasm. He really thought he was hilarious! He also loved novelty electronics. The Big Mouth Billy Bass comes to mind, or this small motion-activated artificial Christmas tree that would often move to his voice when he spoke loudly, which was fairly often. I recently purchased him a singing birthday card because I knew he would get a kick out of it. I will miss you, Daddy. Love Always, Sharon
I first met Steve around forty years ago. He was my sister Connie's high school sweetheart. They were married after high school and eventually Sharon and Stephen were born. Steve had many good qualities. He had the best work ethic of anyone I know and no one was a stranger to him. He always greeted you with a smile and made you feel comfortable. Over the last twenty years or so, I only saw him on special occasions. The last time being Stephen's college graduation at which time I met his second wife, Susie. After leaving the restaurant that day I said to my husband Butch, "Didn't Steve look good today, he never changes. He always keeps the table going in conversation and includes everyone. I really like that guy and Susie is nice also." Butch and I see alot of Steve in Sharon and Stephen. He's certainly on my all time list of people I am so thankful to have met!! Sharon and Stephen, your dad will be in your hearts forever. Just remember, memories last forever!! I love you both very much!!! Peggy
I was a teenager when I first met Steve. At first, he was my sister's boyfriend. Then, I got to know him… Steve, was a Guy's guy. He was a guy that you wanted as a friend, one who would do anything to help you and one that would be there if you ever needed help. He was one of those people that never met a stranger. His work ethic was something I wish more of us had. I know Sharon and Stephen meant the world to him. Sorry to say, I had lost touch with him over the years and hoped he was doing well. Was saddened when I heard the news of his passing. I know this world lost a great man. I will always remember Steve as a person I looked up to. Pray Sharon and Stephen can take comfort in know they had a great Dad that loved them so much. Sammy Spencer
Steve was my son in law for many years. He was as good as they come. Always full of laughter and eager to conversate with everyone. Although i hadn't seen him for several years, i often thought of him. He may have passed from sight but will remain in our hearts forever. He will be missed by many, especially his children whom he was very proud of. May God bless you Stephen and Sharon in the days ahead. I love you both so much. Grandma
