Steve Carlson Born July 24, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas Family Members Include: Father, James Carlson, deceased Mother, Ann Camack and Husband, Bob Sister, Annette McDanel and Husband, Tommy Sister, Renee Murphy and Husband, Mike Grandmothers; Elizabeth Pegg & Virl Walters ~~~~~ Nephews: Ryan McDanel and wife, Stephanie; Tom Murphy & Daniel McKibben and wife, Stephanie Nieces: Kristi Howard & Husband, Dyer with son, Jaxon; Alecia Gilbert & Sonny with sons, Nathan & Benjamin & Sarah Murphy Accomplishments and Associations Graduated from Garland High School, 1979 Received a BA in Business, 1989 Received the DMC Star Award for Employment of Persons with Disabilities Recipients of his volunteer work included: Presbyterian Hospital Our Children’s House at Baylor Lake Pointe Medical Center Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation Board Member of R.E.A.C.H. Committee Member at Baylor S.C.I. Outreach Director at RISE Adventures Steve received tremendous enjoyment and satisfaction in helping others. During his all too short time with us, he touch so many people in a very deep way. His loving ways will never be forgot as his Spirit will live within each of us forever.
