Since I retired in 2015, Steve Jordan has been one of my best friends. We both share a love of the outdoors and photography. That has led us to explore lots of beautiful places off the beaten path in search of birds and wildlife to photograph. I had been a photographer all my life so I shared tips I had learned along the way and Steve knew a lot about birds and the outdoors so I learned a lot from him. We made a good team and enjoyed heading out to see what we could find. Along the way we just liked to visit and exchange stories of our travels and books we had read and people we had met and how proud we were of our families. I miss Steve so much already. When I look at many of the photographs that I have made over the last few years i remember where we were and what we were doing. I know I will see him again someday. In the meantime I am so thankful for all the good times we shared and the memories that we made.
