My brother, Bill King, informed me of Randy's death yesterday. I am extremely sorry, and wish I could be there for the memorial, but living in Florida and being 85 years old, I will not be able to attend.
Bill and I played golf with Randy on many occasions. By his choice, we played at Garden Valley golf club, near Tyler several times. I once asked Randy why we played so far from Dallas. Without hesitation, he said we could drive to and fro to the course near Tyler and play a full 18 holes before we could finish 18 holes in Dallas,,,, and he was right.
