I can’t believe it’s almost been 14 years since I’ve seen your face and felt your warm hugs. I miss you more now than I ever have daddy. I wish you could have met Ivan and Addie. I have shared with them many wonderful stories of their PaPa Max and we look at your pictures. They are so precious and silly, I catch my self looking up towards heaven all the time saying “I know you are laughing and watching over us while you are in the beauty of heaven with Mimi and Papa.” I love you dad with all my heart!

Max made junior high and high school memorable for me. I probably spent more time on the phone with him that I did any of my girlfriends. I once let him read my diary. His phone calls drove my dad crazy and I loved that. I'll always remember him.

I went to high school with Max and remember him as being a really nice guy. I didn't know him that well but he was always very kind and friendly. I'm not surprised to find out he completed the IronMan marathons, I can see him doing that. My sincere condolences to his family.
