Susannah "Susie" Moseley Jones' Obituary
Susannah "Susie" Moseley Jones passed away on June, 7, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born to Laurie Moseley, Jr., and Marie Eubanks Moseley in Dallas, Texas and spent most of her life there.
Susie was a lifelong member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Dallas. She had many friends there and spiritual guidance for which she was always grateful.
After graduating from Bryan Adams High School, she attended Mississippi State College for Women, where she developed many friendships, including with Michelle Adams. Susie referred to her as a "stick by your side" friend.
Susie spent most of her career in the insurance field as a claims representative and Blue Cross Blue Shield. She also worked for two physicians in Dallas, with whom she remained friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Laurie Jr. and Marie Moseley; her brother, Laurie "Butch" Moseley III and his wife, Julia; and her sister, Katherine "Katie" Moseley LaRoe and her husband, Joe; and her beloved husband, Donald Jones, whom she missed dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory are her nieces, Kristi LaRoe Sims, Wendy LaRoe McClellan, and Marie Moseley Medina, as well as her nephew, Michael Moseley, along with great-nieces and nephews. Stepdaughters, who Susie referred to as her "daughters of the heart", are Holly Fuller and Stephanie Jones Rummans, along with her husband Brian Rummans. Susise had a special love for her step-grandsons, Zach Fuller (wife Miranda and their children), Brayden Rummans, and his brother.
Services for Susie will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at St. John's Episcopal Church; 848 Harter Road, Dallas, Texas.
