I first met Teresa when some of the AUS Crew was covering for the ELP Station of the Year Party way back when. Of course, we had shenanigans on our mind, so I sought out the manager on duty from PHX and asked her "can you take a joke?", Teresa replied "uhhhh, I think so", "Great, can you play a joke?", she gushed "Yes I can!" , and she played the role like the ALLSTAR that she was. Without going into detail, the joke went over like gangbusters and Teresa's part in it was legendary. We shared many a laugh over the years about it, and I'll never forget her quick wit and genuine smile, she espoused all of the qualities that made Southwest Great. ALLSTAR, LEGEND = Teresa Laraba , God Bless and keep you and your family, T. Jeff "JB" Bondurant
Brad, Catherine and Heather out deepest and sincere condolences. We have such wonderful memories of her time in El Paso, the play dates with the kids after St Pauls Pre School, Peter Piper Pizza time, fun happy gatherings at your house. She was always so up and happy, bubbly and outgoing. I was always in awe of her and her work ethic. I didn't work with her but I know everyone that did learned so much. She will be so missed but her star will always shine so bright through the eyes of her daughters and all the people she touched. RIP Sweet Teresa. … Fondly Donald, Susana Ward and family
From the workers on the ramp to the pilots on the flight deck, one of the first people you met was Teresa Laraba at FlyDay. She wanted you to truly understand what an opportunity awaited you, and that your career with Southwest was limited only by how far you wanted to go. Her welcome and talk on that day got your training off on the right footing. You will be missed Teresa, but your heart will always be at Love Field and Southwest. Carol Madden
