Therle Deloris Hill's Obituary
Therle Deloris Hill, age 94, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Autumn Leaves, a caring and loving assisted living facility in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gordon L. Hill, Jr., her parents, Charles and Grace Warner, and her brother, Clarence Warner. She was born in Dallas where she was a housewife, a Sunday school teacher, and was active in her church. In her late forties, after raising her children, she went to college where she earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in education. She taught school in the Mesquite Independent School District. She was also active in AAUW, Delta Kappa Gamma, and numerous other educational organizations. She touched many lives, both in her church and in her teaching in schools. She was outgoing, energetic, fun-loving, and she made friends easily. She will be missed.The funeral will be held at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas on Friday, November 9, 2018 in the Memorial Chapel at 2:30 pm, with Pastor David Largent officiating. Viewing and visitation will take place at 1:30 pm prior to the service.
