Pops was a wonderful man, who help bring up a bunch of kids in Keller Fire Department. Pops was a teller but first of all a doer. If he told us to do something, he had already done, tried, and made sure it worked before allowing any of us volunteer firefighters to try it. I don’t know one kid that was ever under his authority that didn’t respect this man with his life. We just knew Pops had our backs, no matter what happened. He helped start the KFD baseball team that played other teams from Keller and other close towns. He not only coached us in firefighting, ems, baseball, but in life. And from what we were told he was a professional skier. Pop’s could do anything he put his mind to. Barbara and families, Thank You for sharing this wonderful man with all of us. And Thank You Pops for your service, dedication, and sacrifices for our great country.
