Ursuline Vargesko, 93, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, May 9, 2020 after a lengthy struggle with dementia. She was born November 16, 1926 in Braddock, Pennsylvania. She married the love of her life Read Obituary
I have fond memories of Uncle Vince and Aunt Urs visiting our family in Pennsylvania. I also was able to visit Aunt Urs in Garland TX. while I attended a nursing mtg in Dallas. She & her son took myself & a friend to the home where the series "Dallas"was filmed. It was a lovely visit. As I recall, Aunt Urs said " I don't like hanging out with people my age, they act too old for me". She was adorable!
If all the minutes were added together that my husband and I square danced with Urse, I am sure it would be many, many hours. When the music started, she was one of the first on the floor. She traveled many miles in pursuit of her love of square dancing. She was full of energy and always smiling. She will be missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
