Aunt Vera was one of the sweetest women I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and knowing. A very classy lady remember the night we went to the surprise Birthday party and that was only for her 100th birthday. Hundreds of people showed up, she was loved by many and will be sorely missed especially on The Burns side. The good Lord received an angel and heaven is much brighter today .
Vera was a friend forever to my aunt, Maxie Fry. I had the privilege of meeting Vera in her home in Dallas a few years ago. Vera and Maxie shared such a sweet friendship and it was such fun to be included in there visit. I will never forget this dear lady. Her love for friends and family was unwavering. ~Colleen Howard
