Like Amy, it's where do I start … I can hardly say Vicki's name without tearing up and knowing that I will never get to have the special conversations/laughs we shared. I at times loathed the "special escalations" but honestly I would give anything to have one more at this moment. Vickie cared about my kids as though they were her grandkids (even though she had only met them once), she had inspired my daughter when she had a tough time in school … Vickie knew no distance boundary when caring about someone, she made sure that she was there. Vickie was my manager but never made it feel that way, she was a dear friend and travel buddy when we had to visit a client.. we would share a good chuckle about getting dressed up in our ADP uniform (black, grey, red and white were always the colors we showed up in). I too will miss Dad and Gary stories, every time we traveled she made it a priority to call home to chat with both. It made my heart smile when her face would light up when she was on the phone and I could tell how much you all meant to her. I will miss Ricky and Lucy stories and the antics that they would pull, LOL oh those made me laugh!! I will also miss the menu run-down she would give for everyday meals and holiday family functions and the recipes she would share .. (I will make Christmas cookies and think fondly of the recipes she shared with me). Well my dear friend, until we meet again …

My parents Faye and Marcel Files and our family will always remember Vickie, Gary and Leroy. They were always so sweet to take my folks to see the Gaithers and Vickie always made the most beautiful and delicious Christmas goodies. She was a wonderful Christian lady, devoted daughter, and true friend. She will be missed and fondly remembered. June and Gary Browne

I am so sorry to hear about Vickie. She was truly a very kind and giving person. I am so happy that I got to spend the day with her in late August. We got to talk and reminisce about North Dallas days, parents playing dominoes while we talked and listened to music, all the crazy times we had in the youth group. She will always have a very special place in my heart. She was the little sister I never had. She was a great friend and I wish I hadn't gotten to see more of her these last few years. We have shared a lot of laughter and tears through the years together. She will be truly missed. I know she is with her mom now. Vickie I love you and will miss your wonderful smile! Peggy Haskell
Even though I never got to know Vickie well, but because my daughter, Jodie, and Vickie were best friends for 28 years I felt she was part of our family. I will always remember Vickie as the most talented, giving, helpful, always putting others first and finding ways to see that others could share in her incredible ideas and crafts and handmade gifts and food. Always giving and thinking of others first. God must have given her an extra helping of Love for others. That was the Vickie I knew. Sincere sympathy to Vickie's Dad, Brothers, and all her family. Vickie was a Special Lady and will be missed every day. Jodie's Mom Gerry McElroy Oklahoma City
