Like Amy, it's where do I start … I can hardly say Vicki's name without tearing up and knowing that I will never get to have the special conversations/laughs we shared. I at times loathed the "special escalations" but honestly I would give anything to have one more at this moment. Vickie cared about my kids as though they were her grandkids (even though she had only met them once), she had inspired my daughter when she had a tough time in school … Vickie knew no distance boundary when caring about someone, she made sure that she was there. Vickie was my manager but never made it feel that way, she was a dear friend and travel buddy when we had to visit a client.. we would share a good chuckle about getting dressed up in our ADP uniform (black, grey, red and white were always the colors we showed up in). I too will miss Dad and Gary stories, every time we traveled she made it a priority to call home to chat with both. It made my heart smile when her face would light up when she was on the phone and I could tell how much you all meant to her. I will miss Ricky and Lucy stories and the antics that they would pull, LOL oh those made me laugh!! I will also miss the menu run-down she would give for everyday meals and holiday family functions and the recipes she would share .. (I will make Christmas cookies and think fondly of the recipes she shared with me). Well my dear friend, until we meet again …

My parents Faye and Marcel Files and our family will always remember Vickie, Gary and Leroy. They were always so sweet to take my folks to see the Gaithers and Vickie always made the most beautiful and delicious Christmas goodies. She was a wonderful Christian lady, devoted daughter, and true friend. She will be missed and fondly remembered. June and Gary Browne

I am so sorry to hear about Vickie. She was truly a very kind and giving person. I am so happy that I got to spend the day with her in late August. We got to talk and reminisce about North Dallas days, parents playing dominoes while we talked and listened to music, all the crazy times we had in the youth group. She will always have a very special place in my heart. She was the little sister I never had. She was a great friend and I wish I hadn't gotten to see more of her these last few years. We have shared a lot of laughter and tears through the years together. She will be truly missed. I know she is with her mom now. Vickie I love you and will miss your wonderful smile! Peggy Haskell
Vickie – I'll miss you so much every day. Your presence in my life has been such a blessing – even when I was cursing you for those "stretch" assignments. I couldn't have asked for a better mentor and guide, both in work and in life. You willingly filled in after my mom was gone as being the person I could turn to when I had a joy or sorrow to share. I had many "wait until I tell Vickie" moments and I know those are the times I will miss you most keenly in the days ahead. I'll miss my regular Dad updates, and funny family (and kitty) stories. I've never before felt so close to a family I've never met. ?? I'll miss your recipes! And your antiquing/auction adventure tales; your crafty ideas and creative solutions to anything under the sun. Gosh, this list could go on and on, so I'll close with a wish for peace for your family, and a commitment to do my best to continue to make you proud so when I see you again, you can tell me once again that I've done well. – Amy Mullins
