a good friend
I had the previlege and honor of knowing Victor. I interviewed him at one of our Rotary lunches where we were honoring WWII veterans. What a great experience for me and the entire club (we have it on tape). He allowed myself and my wife Bonita to read a draft of a book he wrote about his life . Great reading honoring a true gentlemen. Always gracious and just a great person to know. My life is better for it. By the way, during the interview Victor wore his flight jacket and it still fit.
Margie Stephenson loved Victor and was an admirer of his service. She pointed everyone that she knew to look to Victor and what he had accomplished with his life. Margie is waiting for him in heaven and they will pick up their conversations where they left off here on earth.
Uncle Vic. I have always respected you and thought highly of you. A true gentleman with a loving, caring, and giving heart. You are with our Maker now. Rest well and God Bless.
Uncle Vic, I have always respected and admired you. You were a caring gentleman with a loving and giving heart. Rest well with our Lord and maker. God Bless
Dad I miss you so much. I love you.
No one loved serving his country more nor loved it more than Mr. Hancock. As witnesses by a former HUD employee.
EVERY PERSON SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE FRIEND LIKE VICTOR WAS TO ME.
I will miss him greeting everyone at Rotary meetings. He was a sweet, sweet man. God bless and comfort his family.
Victor, words cannot express the love and respect I have for you. I agree, whole-heatedly, with everything your friends and family have been saying about you. I thank you again for your service to our great country and expansive communities of God’s children. I’ve always had a hard time dealing with death, but my pain is lessened by our last phone conversation and the knowledge that you are reunited with Jo Ann and the many awesome souls that have left this earth.
