It is with deep sadness that the family of Victor J. Young, III announces his passing on October 11, 2025. Born on April 10, 1984, Victor was a beloved husband, devoted father, cherished son, and loyal friend whose love, strength, and presence touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Victor is survived by behind his life partner, Denise and children — Cameron, Victor (IV), Ja’Meire, Romero, Caron, Kobe, and his daughter, McKenzie, his mother Alicia Baker, his father Victor Young, II, step-father Tommie Baker, his brother Tramaine, his sisters Ashlee and Tameshia, grandparents Diane and Lander Gilyard and Sharon and Alex Winfield and God-parents Eunice & Cheyenne Darby.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Samuel Jackson and his sister Victoria Young.
Victor was an extraordinary father, dedicated to preparing his children for life and instilling in them the values of hard work, respect, and perseverance. He was proud of his sons and believed in their potential, always pushing them to be their best. His love for his daughter McKenzie was endless; he never went a day without talking about her or sharing how proud he was to be her dad.
Born and raised in New York, Victor carried his roots proudly. A true straight shooter, he was known for his honesty, loyalty, and heart. He had an unmatched ability to connect with people, always reaching out to friends to check in, share laughs, or talk football.
A proud member of the “Bills Mafia”, Victor was a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan. His passion for the game and his team was a big part of who he was — his energy and excitement could light up any room or stadium.
Victor loved his family above all else. He honored his grandparents, adored his parents, and lived every day to provide for and protect those he loved. His bond with his wife, Denise, was one of deep love and partnership. Together, they built a beautiful family and a life grounded in love, faith, and unity.
Victor’s presence will be deeply missed— his voice in the stands, his laughter in conversations, and his unwavering support for those he cared about. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit lives on through the lives he shaped and the love he shared.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Viewing at 1:00 p.m.; Service at 2:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home, located at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243, with a private burial proceeding directly after the service.
