I met Virginia in 2013 when I joined the Farmers Branch Senior Center. Oh, what a bright light she was 💕 She greeted you with a big smile and made you feel so special when you walked through the front door. Virginia helped teach me the “tricks of the trade” for being a Front Desk Volunteer. We enjoyed different classes together, birthday lunches, front desk monthly meetings, Holiday parties, comparing homework, and so much more.
One of my most fond memories of sweet Virginia was after her daughter, Laura, returned from Africa. She knew my daughter, Shelby, had recently returned from her second African visit and Virginia was so excited for our opportunity to share some of their amazing stories. We were both sooo very proud of our girls 💕
