Virginia Lee Maupin (nee Snyder)'s Obituary
Virginia, of Richardson, Texas passed away on March 21, 2025 in Richardson, Texas.
She was born on April 2, 1924 in Los Angels, California to Sam and Phyllis Snyder. Virginia was married 50 years to W.P. “Jack” Maupin.
Virginia is survived by her brother Sam Guy Snyder, Jr (Betty), children Andrea Hacker (Peter), Tom (Judy), and Shirley Maupin; and will always be remembered as Mama Ginny to her 5 grandchildren and her 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Jack Maupin in 1995. Virginia was the Business Administrator for First Presbyterian Church Richardson for 17 years and active in several community organizations where she served in executive positions. She supported the family bond of love of same sex marriage, interracial marriage, and how it enriched the entire family. She will be missed not only by her loving family but also by the community of Richardson.
Her Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church Richardson at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church Richardson, The Network of Community Ministries (thenetwork.org) or Holding Hands Hospice (holdinghandshospice.org).
