The Hardi’s and my Roe family go way back as co-workers with Southwestern Bell. As I remember, there were at least 4 of us from each family who crossed paths many times in different capacities both on the job and personally. WT was always a hoot, always good to make you laugh, one of the first people I met when I hired on in 1970. My Dad had known him and all of us kids on each side worked with and for each other along the way. Many years later I was at the VFW on Garland Rd one night and I heard a familiar voice around the corner telling a joke and said to myself, “it can’t be”, and walked over to WT and reconnected. He hadn’t changed one bit. I’m very sorry for your loss in losing WT. He touched so many lives in a positive way for his 93 years and a true blessing to all who knew him.Don Roe
