Wanda Lou Bohannan's Obituary
Wanda Lou Bohannan, of Denison, Texas passed away at her home on Wednesday March 3, 2010. She was 71 years of age and surrounded by family when Jesus took her home. Physical cause of death was cancer. She was the daughter of Luther and Ruth Ridgle and was born in Alto, Texas. She graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in Dallas County. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Bohannan, eight brothers and sisters, three children, five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her brother, James L. Ridgle, her sister, Linda Ridgle-Williamson, and both parents. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Denison where she enjoyed attending Sunday school and church services. Wanda was an avid fisherwoman who loved spending time at Lake Texoma where she made the fish tremble since 1976! Her working career included 15 years at Texas Instruments (Dallas) where she worked the nightshift so she could take care of her kids and attend the family business during the days. Services will be held at 12:30PM, Monday, March 8, 2010 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 3:00PM-5:00PM, Sunday at Restland Funeral Home. Restland is located at 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75243. The entire family would like to extend a very special thank you to Jennifer Borin who was so much more than professional. We can’t express the gratitude we feel for your kind heart, touch, and words.
