I remember Mrs Ragan at PVN. I was a new nurse, she taught me a lot and even though she was "strict" she made me a better nurse and I remember her teachings as I continue to nurse. Rest in heaven

Gerry has always been "Aunt Gerry" to our family…now for 36 years. She and Don have been Honorary Grandparents to our kids for many recent years after our own parents passed. We did always enjoy our dinner and visits to their house. But…we had to give equal time to watching the Mavericks in one room and the Rangers in another. Whenever one of our kids had a medical crisis….Aunt Gerry was always our first call. She had such a sweet and caring bedside manner that our kids would calm down immediately. And…when our kids had their own kids, Aunt Gerry and Uncle Don readily became attached to them as well. We will forever be grateful for the times we shared with this beautiful caring person. Gerry, we love you and will see you again some day.. Dub & Babette.

Gerry was the sister I never had. All my secrets I told to her. I'm not sure she told me all hers? She helped me through health crisis many times. She was a gracious hostess at all events she initiated, but her "shin dig" topped them all! The kindness of sharing her African Violets with me, (and they are still thriving.) I will call her mom because even though I was not her blood daughter, she was always a a second mother to me. I have known mom since 1973, when we moved a few houses down from the Ragan family. Her daughters would become my best friends for life. I have too many memories from our childhood days to name just one!! Just know that I loved her very much and will carry her in my heart always!
