I have so many wonderful memories of Eudena and the joy of being her neighbor. She did so much it would be hard to list. One of the outstanding things that most people don't know is that she took my children to school forever when I was sick. I'm sure it was for a year. But that's just what she did. What people needed she delivered. Rest in peace Eudena…praying we will be neighbors again.

Thinking about you today Ken and remembering your beautiful wife. Thank-you for the love and support you both have been . And I remember how wonderful Eudena was all the time…..But especially her love toward my mother when she came and stayed with us at your home. She welcomed her like a sister. As I reflect I have so many memories…..Going shopping with her, going to parks with the kids,how she enjoyed taking them to a movie….Served so many with lovely meals in your home. ….And I remember her owls. My Aunt Eudena was a wonderful warm person with a sense of humor that hid behind her ladylike attitude. I am so sorry for your loss and the pain you all are currently experiencing! Focus on the memories of all the grand years spent together in love and faith with her family and friends to get you through. I'm sure she has joined up with my Mother and Father, and Grandmother Alice in heaven-they are probably having fried chicken and peach cobbler daily. My Mama and Daddy loved Eudena so very much. Mama especially. In the last years of my parent's lives, I was given the gift of working with Eudena in the Waterview kitchen for my parent's LOA group. Eudena loved on me over and over because she knew I was helping my mom and then, later, missing my mom.
