I dearly loved Wanda Sharpe. She and her late husband, welcomed me into their home and family for many holidays & Sunday dinners. She was like a second Mother to me offering advice, love, faith and many fun times around her kitchen table sharing a cup of coffee. She will be forever in my heart. Prayers & love to the Sharpe family and to Susan, my forever friend, extra love and hugs to you. With Sympathy, Cathy Noakes Herridge

Wanda has been my dear friend for the last 16 years. We met through a grief recovery group after the loss of our spouses in 1999. Over the next few years our friendship grew into a close relationship. Wanda was a leader and she organized many social and service events. We served the needs of others but we also laughed, shopped, cooked, dined out, traveled, visited and worshipped together. We shared many great times but one funny memory I will share is about an incident when we were going to a dinner in Lewisville. Wanda volunteered to drive ( those who knew her were aware that she literally "put the petal to the metal") but the friend riding shotgun was NOT aware of her driving reputation. As luck would have it there was a big drop off on the shoulder for several miles due to construction. Fred white knuckled it all the way to our destination. He graciously declined riding with her ever again! I could share many more fun memories but I will just say, "I love you my friend and as God promises, you are already in His presence. I will join you one day but until then I will keep you close in my heart." May your family find comfort in the knowledge of your unconditional love for each of them. Forever in His care and my love, Martha
