Tracy, I was so saddened to hear of your mother's passing. I had met her a few times and she was always so pleasant. Since you are an only child, I feel sure this is a very trying time for you. Maybe words cannot really help you at this time, but I want you to know that I'm thinking of you and Taylor and I'm also praying for you both. I'm sorry that I couldn't come to the funeral, but I don't feel that I'm quite ready to attend a funeral as Dave's passing tends to still bear on my mind and in my heart. We were married fifty years and this is a lot for me to deal with—even now. Please know that you are in my prayers, as I mentioned earlier. We will be in touch whenever you feel like talking.
