Carolyn Eldredge
Weldon and Winnie Kate Griffith were special friends of ours (Bill and Carolyn Eldredge) for years at East Grand Baptist Church in the 60s and 70s. Bill passed away on February 6, 20224.
Weldon and Bill served together in many various parts of the church ministry and I shared rides with Winnie Kate to choir practice at the church. We lived in the same neighborhood (Burcker Terrace). Bill and I moved to Granbury, TX in 200 and back to Dallas in September of 2023 to Christian Care Services and Community in Mesquite, TX. I am no attending Grand View Baptist Church (East Grand Church moved to Mesquite and changed the name, so I have reunited with East Granders who are still attending the church.
Weldon was a wonderful man. He mentored our 3 children (Valerie, Melanie and Kenneth during their years at Skyline High School. He will be missed by many friends and fellow church members.
