Wilbur Curtis Brown's Obituary
W. Curtis Brown, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021. Curtis was born in Dallas on November 29, 1925 to parents: James and Ada Brown.
After graduating from Highland Park High School, Curtis went to work in the insurance industry at Trezevant & Cochran which was later acquired by Reliance Insurance Company and from which he retired at the end of 1988 as manager of the Personal Lines Department. Along the way he earned the Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter designation. He had a passion for photography and people watching.
Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife (of 30 years), Sarah and his younger son, Brian Keith.
He is survived by Barbara, his wife of 32 years; son, Bradley; daughter, Stephanie Winkler (Bruce); son, Robert Armor and granddaughters: Katie Kozeny, Kendall Kozeny and Kinsey Kozeny.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
