Sammie and Dub were always walking with or without dog. Knew my dogs and my dogs loved them. Always friendly! Sorry I didn’t know about his death earlier. They were the perfect examples of Cottonwood Creek friendly neighborhood. Julie Schaefer - Brandy Station.
Our condolences. We used to walk our dogs and Mr William and his wife would always wave to us. It was lovely to see them in front of their window in the mornings. Later he frequently joined us on walks with my daughter Victoria. He was always so kind and positive. We would chT about our gardens, education and work. May he rest it peace. He will be very missed.
Such a nice, friendly guy! My husband and I always enjoyed visiting with him. We would drive by in our golf cart and he would be outside, either walking his cute little dog or working in his yard. He was so friendly...loved talking to him. May he RIP! 💙

Please accept my most sincere condolences. I have known Dub for over 40 years, and I considered him to be an excellent educator and school administrator. He was one of the most thoughtful and gracious men I have been associated with. He will be missed by all of the thousands of colleagues and students he came in contact with.
It was my privilege to work as an assistant principal with Dub at Pearce High School.
Dub was a man with a gentle spirit who exhibited integrity, compassion for others, kindness, devotion to his students, and a wonderful sense of humor.
My first memory of Dub at Pearce concerned his office which was always perfectly neat, dust free, and had an wonderful aroma of furniture polish. Since I never saw him cleaning, I teased him about employing a service to keep it so spotless.
I had tremendous respect for Dub and was very grateful for his friendship.
Dub, simply the best! Dub was our neighbor for many years, we enjoyed walking by the house and waving to Dub, Sammy, and Maggie. Emma and Cooper (our dogs) would run to the window every day to greet them. After Maggie and Sammy went home to our Lord, Dub and I would walk together in the mornings, talk about our grass, share gossip around the neighborhood, enjoy meals and outings with local friends, and work on his house. My sincere blessings to Dub and his family as he will be missed, but not forgotten. He was my best friend!!!
