Bill & his trusty blue van saved the day for my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary party in 2004. My brother Marshall & his wife Albina purchased multiple balloon bouquets for table decorations, not realizing there was no way to fit them all in their car along with their passengers, & there was not enough time to make two (or more) trips across Albuquerque from the north to the south. Bill was sleeping in his van at my parent's house & he graciously agreed to transport the balloons for us although it meant he barely had enough time to get ready. Bill visited my sister Vivian Rosso in Bailey CO a few times through the years. Pat & I drove up from Denver to hang out & enjoy lively chats with Bill by the bonfire. I'm happy to have one of his watercolors, a southern CO landscape at dusk, framed & hanging in my living room to remind me of him. He had such an eye for colors & passion for his subjects – such as the TX County courthouses! Bill always looked and perhaps acted much younger than his years. I was quite shocked to discover his age since I thought he wasn't much older than me! He was full of life & certainly led an interesting life himself! Much love & my sympathies to Bill's family.
