Two of the best people I have ever had the privilege of working with were Bill and Mary Kay Tanner. My years at Statewide Remodeling were made so much better because of my friendship and working relationship with the Tanners. The kindest, most hard working, dedicated and loyal people you could ever meet. Not to mention the most incredible producers year after year after year! The thing that always struck me most about Bill was his upbeat attitude. I don't think I ever saw him "down". He was a remarkable person and I was privileged to have had the pleasure to work side by side with him and Mary Kay for so many years. They do not make them like that anymore. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Mary Kay and the rest of the Tanner family. I just keep seeing his smile and laugh and remembering his get it done attitude.

Bill Tanner did always make immediate friends, had the good humor quick witted comments and jokes! Never a dull moment even when the work situation presented otherwise. Reliable- if he said he was or would do … he did. Always on time (on time was late, for Bill & MaryKay, their timing was always EARLY and prepared.) My most cherished recollections are of his skilled protection of you when you messed up and he fixed the situation. I dislodged a demo product. He looked at me and joked, "you broke it". I began to sweat as a "newbie" and in training on the job. Within seconds he fixed it; smiled at me with that twinkle in his eye and went on about his business. He never told on me, never brought it up again! Humility and grace bestowed- oh, more than once! He was a gracious "newbie trainer" and a dedicated Team member of the CC Mall Showroom. For his family, you are so BLESSED to be a part of his lineage. For his Friends, like me, I am honored and forever imprinted by his character, his wit and his faith! -Y. Hawkins
