I am so glad I was able to visit him on a couple of occasions in mesquite. He would share stories of his days as a boxer, and old times with my dad Bill his brother. My thoughts and prayers go out to his kids and family at this time. Sheri (Goodman) Owen.

There were quite a few of us older Goodman grandkids. We were often together for family functions and fun. At one sleepover Uncle De made peanut brittle. It was so good. Just a very sweet time. As an adult he took me on a drive to see many of the places he and my dad played at when young. We have been blessed by mothers and fathers who were good people in the fullest sense of the word.
