Woody was an outstanding person and I have never heard anything but good things about him. I admired him as an athlete and enjoyed getting to know him better as a person through the Sunset cruises . Woody will be missed. Fred McLean
One of my fondest memories of uncle Woody was watching him play baseball. I had no idea before seeing him play that anyone could pitch underhanded so fast. When I was older, I played a bit of fast pitch softball and found out the hard way that a pitcher as fast as Woody could knock you down if their fastball ran inside. It gave me a new respect for his abilities. He will be missed. -kirk-
