I met Kathy and Zeke via a Breast Cancer Freestyle event and then from online freestyle groups. Music United Us. Zeke always respected me and actually saw me and saw what i was capable of doing. I won’t ever forget. He was in love with his beautiful family. Zeke, you did it, you fought so hard but it was never in vain. You are now free and although your family can’t see you, they know you are there. Thank you for being a friend. May you rest in peace🙏🏻

After years of a rocky relationship, Zeke and I became close when I visited Chicago a couple years ago. As Gilbert and I were getting ready to leave, Zeke hugged me and said, “well, Becky you’re not so bad. In fact, I actually like you.” I came to love Zeke’s zany sense of humor and his zest for living life.!
